How Well Do LDS Scientists Reconcile Their Faith With Their Science?

Here is an interesting article that compares the LDS scientists with scientists in other faiths. Apparently the LDS scientists do a better job of reconciling science and religion. I have a brief discussion of the original study along with some links to rebuttals. It all ends up coming down to how one gets ones figures on scientists and what makes a scientist. Wootton uses a sort of “who’s who” of scientists. Others say that is an inappropriate way to discern scientific production since most people studying science never make it into the book. I can see both sides, although I tend to favor Wootton. One just has to be aware of what is being measured.
