Soaking Up the Spirit

My wife speaks Spanish. I don’t.  The two of us have been asked by the stake to serve as a “shepherding couple” to the singles branch in the stake and to the single people in two other wards including the Spanish branch.  Today I attended the Spanish branch with her and didn’t understand of word in Sacrament Meeting, Gospel Doctrine class and priesthood meeting.  But I was surprised by how much you can learn from the tone of voice and facial expressions.  But more than that, the Spirit speaks to our hearts in a language anyone can understand.  The meetings were full of the Spirit, and I just soaked it up.  I had a wonderful Sabbath today.  That doesn’t always happen.
